Gabriel Guignier (*2006) started to play the cello at the age of 5 at Aulnay-sous-Bois Conservatory under Véronique Alvarez and Cyril Lacrouts. When he was 15, he joined the class of Jérôme Pernoo at Paris National Conservatory. He won 3rd prize at the international competition “Tremplin” (2021), 1st prize (2018) and 2nd prize (2020) in “Music Art competition”. He participated in master classes of Gary Hoffman, Mischa Maisky and Edgar Moreau. He played in many festivals such as Musica Mundi in Belgium, La Roche Posay and la Roque d’Anthéron with Claire Désert, Olivier Charlier, Emmanuel Srosser and the Wanderer trio. He is interested in composition and began to play the piano in 2018.
