Audrey Xu has been playing the instrument for the past three years. She has earned numerous awards at international, provincial, and local music festivals. Audrey strongly believes that music has the power to bring people together and create a sense of community. As the first cello in the Oakville Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Sinfonia Group for 2 years, Audrey has honed her skills as a musician while collaborating with her fellow performers. By participating in this international cello competition, she hopes to showcase her talent and to learn from other cellists in the global music community, while also making new connections with fellow musicians.
