Kim Stanislas studied in Paris with Raphaël Pidoux and Philippe Muller, and in Hannover with Tilmann Wick and Leonid Gorokhov. He is currently studying with Jens Peter Maintz at the Reina Sofía School of Music. Stanislas has received the advice of David Geringas, Frans Helmerson, Natalia Gutman, Tabea Zimmermann, etc. Since 2019, he has been teaching at the University of Music, Drama and Media Hannover. Stanislas is a laureate of the international competitions (George Enescu, Brahms, Hindemith). In 2011, he received the Maggini Foundation Award and a special prize for his interpretation of Bach's Cello Suites. He has appeared at numerous festivals (Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Grieg in Bergen, etc.).
